We are Shane and Danae Martin. We have 6 sweet children and are in love with the Farmhouse lifestyle. Shane grew up on a 5-acre farm in Saskatchewan with his loving mother and father and 4 sisters, as well as 300 chickens a year, 100 geese, 14 goats, 30 sled dogs, puppies, and a pony and cart. Climbing trees and scabbed up knees were almost a daily part of his early life growing up on the farm.
Danae also grew up on a 5-acre farm in Northern British Columbia. She too has a loving family who spent many summers camping and many days enjoying the perpetual sun in the North. She grew up with cows, farm dogs and cats and the occasional horse. Some of the best memories are eating fresh peas and carrots from the garden. Her mom is an extremely talented quilter and her dad can fix or build anything.
As a family we love hunting for unique finds at antique stores (our kids all love antique books), heading out into nature with our quads, swimming in our back yard pool, and just spending time together.
